Thinking Of Running For Joliet Park District Board? Here's What Must Done If You Want Become A Commissioner

Two Joliet Park District commissioners will be elected, each to a 4-year term.

JOLIET, IL — The Joliet Park District will have nominating petition packets available beginning Tuesday, August 25 for individuals who wish to run for Park Board Commissioner in the April 6, 2027, Consolidated General Election.

Packets may be picked up at the administrative offices of the Joliet Park District, Inwood Athletic Club on the second floor, 3000 W. Jefferson Street, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Two commissioners will be elected, each to a 4-year term. The first day for filing petitions is Monday, November 16, 2026 beginning at 8 a.m., and the last day is Monday, November 23, 2026 until 5 p.m.
