• Kane County Board OKs RTA sales tax reallocation, meant to help balance 2027 budget as deficit woes continue (chicagotribune.com) — Kane County leaders have approved reallocating a large share of RTA sales tax revenue from transportation projects to the general fund to help balance the 2027 budget and avoid layoffs.
