LTHS Students Earn Top Honors at National Journalism Convention and State Press Awards
Menagerie and Tabulae received national and regional recognition for excellence in journalism and design.
Lyons Township High School is proud to announce that students from its award-winning publications, Menagerie and Tabulae, received national and regional recognition for excellence in journalism and design.
At the recent Journalism Education Association convention in Minneapolis, the 2025 edition of Menagerie earned the prestigious Best of Show First Place trophy, recognizing it as the top publication in its category among schools nationwide.
In addition to the team achievement, several Tabulae students were honored with individual awards:

Further adding to this year’s success, the 2025 Tabulae Yearbook was recently named a “Golden Eagle”, the highest honor awarded by the Northern Illinois Scholastic Press Association. The award was announced at the NISPA convention held at the College of DuPage.
