The footage reportedly shows an after-hours kiss, and Hoffenberg alleges township Supervisor Christopher Getty may have obtained unredacted recordings, raising concerns about harassment, political motives, and the security of sensitive documents handled in the clerk's office. 
• The Best Suburban Public High Schools (chicagotribune.com) — Lyons Township High School, serving La Grange and Western Springs, earns a spot on a new list of the region's best suburban public high schools based on 2024–25 state performance data. The rankings compare dozens of Chicago-area schools, offering families a snapshot of how LT stacks up academically against neighboring districts.
• La Grange Park updates safety efforts planned for La Grange Road (chicagotribune.com) — If you regularly drive or walk along La Grange Road, major safety upgrades are being planned that could change how you travel that corridor for years. La Grange Park is gathering resident feedback on lower speed limits, new crossing signals, refuge islands, and even a possible pedestrian overpass, with an online survey open through Sept. 2 and a proposal headed to IDOT by Thanksgiving.
