• Lake Forest Library Names Molly Scheibler New Executive Director (patch.com) — Lake Forest Library has hired experienced Illinois librarian Molly Scheibler as its new executive director, with her tenure beginning in mid-September. Scheibler, who has led departments at several area libraries and teaches information studies, says she's eager to partner with staff, trustees, and local government to serve Lake Forest and keep the library on a strong path forward.
   

• Caleb Williams Opens Up on Major Change in Bears Role (dawindycity.com) — Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams describes how he's gaining more freedom to change plays at the line while still leaning on center Garrett Bradbury for many protection calls, with an eye toward even more control in 2027.
