• Prosecutors say Wauconda firefighter-paramedic was found with nearly 50 grams of cocaine, fentanyl in Lake Zurich (lakemchenryscanner.com) — Lake Zurich police conducted a late-night traffic stop on Route 12 near Route 22 that led to the seizure of roughly 49.5 grams of suspected cocaine and fentanyl and multiple felony charges. A Wauconda firefighter-paramedic and another Lakemoor resident now face serious drug and DUI-related counts, with prosecutors pursuing potential prison terms of up to 30 years.
