Woman Accused Of Firing Gun Toward Vehicles Outside Mundelein Home
Authorities say children were inside the residence during the early morning incident, which remains under investigation.
MUNDELEIN, IL — A woman is facing charges after authorities say she fired a gun in the direction of two vehicles outside a home where children were present during an early morning domestic disturbance.
Officials with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office said the incident occurred around 5:10 a.m. Monday in the 19400 block of West Krueger Court in Mundelein, according to the Lake & McHenry County Scanner. Marianna R. Mareewa, 29, of Mundelein, is accused of firing the gun toward two cars outside the home, striking at least one of them.
Authorities said the home was occupied at the time by the Mareewa's children. No injuries were reported in the incident, according to the report.
