Lisle Police To Target Drunk, Impaired Drivers For Halloween Traffic Safety Push

Lisle police will be out in full force in the days leading up to Halloween.

LISLE, IL — Police in Lisle will be out in full force to target drunk and impaired drivers during a traffic safety push in the days leading up to Halloween. They'll also be on the lookout for seatbelt violations.

“Alcohol and cannabis impair your ability to drive safely,” Sergeant William Wise said in a statement.

He added, “That’s why it’s crucial to plan how you’ll get home before you head out. And don’t forget to wear your seat belt every trip, every time. Planning ahead, driving sober, and buckling up will help keep you and others safe.”
