• Bishop McNamara's Haven Barwegen takes first at Lisle cross country invite: Saturday's Daily Journal roundup (shawlocal.com) — Lisle hosted the Ken Jakalski cross country invite, where a Bishop McNamara freshman won the girls race and several area teams posted strong finishes. Lisle's boys soccer team also edged Peotone 4–3, while other nearby schools saw mixed results across soccer, golf, and cross country in a busy weekend of high school sports.
