• Mexican man, previously deported 5 times, apprehended in Illinois (meigsindypress.com) — A man was detained in Lyons during a 2025 theft investigation and has now been sentenced to 14 months in federal prison for illegally reentering the U.S. after multiple deportations. Authorities say he resisted arrest and has several prior felony convictions, and he is expected to face deportation again following this latest sentence.
