• National Volunteer Week: Thank You to Our Heroes Who Make Our Mission Possible (redcross.org) — A decade after devastating floods damaged more than 200 homes in Marseilles, local resident Kent Terry is still volunteering with the Red Cross, from disaster response to blood drives and student mentoring. His story is featured alongside other volunteers nationwide as the Red Cross marks National Volunteer Week and invites new helpers to get involved in many flexible roles.
