• Lane to close for bridge work on Illinois 251 in rural Lee County (wrex.com) — Bridge repairs on Illinois 251 about five miles north of Mendota will begin Monday, June 15, keeping only one lane open with temporary signals through late July. Mendota-area drivers should plan for delays, consider alternate routes, and use extra caution in the work zone as crews repair the structure and add a new concrete overlay.
