• Jerry L. Dittamore (70) of Mattoon - Effingham's News and Sports Leader, 979XFM and KJ Country 102.3 (thexradio.com) — Montrose residents are mourning Jerry L. Dittamore, who grew up in town and went on to a wide-ranging career as an electrician and adventurer before passing away April 12 in Mattoon at age 70. Family and friends remember his love of woodworking, flying, boating, and time with nieces and nephews, and suggest memorial donations to St. Jude’s or Shriners hospitals for children.
