The new rule, which took effect Thursday, reflects local concerns about the herb's psychoactive effects and overdose risks, and immediately changes what can legally be sold in shops across the city.

Angelo Georgacopoulos Named 2026 Illinois High School Counselor of the Year (thenationalherald.com) — Naperville North High School counselor Angelo Georgacopoulos has been named the 2026 Illinois High School Counselor of the Year for his work supporting students' mental health, academics, and future plans. Over 14 years in Naperville, he's launched programs like Career Takeover and Healthy Huskie Takeover while also counseling families in private practice, drawing on his Greek heritage and faith to guide his approach.
   

4. A 5-foot-9 quarterback with college offers, Naperville North's Dante Colasante shows what he can do vs. DeKalb (chicagotribune.com) — Naperville North quarterback Dante Colasante, a 5-foot-9 senior with several college offers, led the Huskies to a 42-14 win over DeKalb with three touchdown passes. Coaches and teammates praise his film study, poise, and toughness as he steps up after an injury to the team's leading rusher.
