Loved as a devoted "Poppa" and top local fundraiser for St. Baldrick's childhood cancer efforts, he is celebrated for his humor, love of music, and dedication to helping fellow veterans. A future Celebration of Life will honor his memory.

Liquor Store Targeted In Smash-And-Grab To Gaming Machines: New Lenox PD (patch.com) — New Lenox residents are being alerted after Route 30 Liquors on Maple Street was hit by a smash-and-grab targeting its gaming machines early last weekend. A witness reported three men fleeing in a vehicle, and officers arrived to find a shattered glass door and damaged machines, adding to a pattern of recent area burglaries.

South Suburban Meeting Agenda - September 16, 2026 (illinois.gov) — A state Human Rights Authority panel will meet at Trinity Services on Veterans Parkway in New Lenox on Sept. 16 to review new complaints and ongoing cases involving area hospitals and care facilities.
