Celebration Opens Northbrook Farmers Market for the Season!

Featuring fun for all and a festive morning filled with fresh finds, freebies, and activities. Setting the tone for a rousing kickoff to the season, a professional brass quartet from the Northbrook Symphony will perform live.

The traditional watermelon-cutting ceremony, which officially opens the market, starts at 10 a.m. and ends shortly thereafter with free watermelon slices for all.

And for children of all ages: free face painting, free balloon sculpting, giveaways and more.

Slow down and give yourself time to greet returning vendors and meet new vendors--plenty of them! Then shop the freshest locally grown, in-season fruits and veggies, artisan-crafted foods, flowers, and specialty vendors — all in one welcoming, community-focused setting.
