Northbrook Brewfest returning to downtown Sept. 19

Enjoy adult beverages, live music from Velvet Rose Band, food, games and a photo booth at Village Green Park

Celebrate the beginning of the fall season at the 6th annual Northbrook Brewfest in the heart of downtown Northbrook!

The Northbrook Park District and the Village of Northbrook are excited to host this craft beer tasting event from 3 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19 at Village Green Park, 1810 Walters Ave.

The brew and adult beverage lineup includes Topo Chico, Right Bee Cider, RationALE, Revolution Brewing, Dogfish Head, Sketchbook Brewing, Cayman Jack+ White Claw, New Holland, Lakefront Brewery, Yuengling, Warsteiner and Two Brothers Brewing Company.

The event will also feature live music from Velvet Rose Band, a high-energy tribute band playing 70s R&B, Motown, funk, blues and dance tunes, along with a photo booth and games.

A special toast to the Village of Northbrook’s 125th anniversary will take place at intermission around 5:45 pm.

Attendees can purchase food on site from Landmark Inn Bar & Grille or bring their own picnic.

“We are thrilled to host Northbrook Brewfest again and provide another opportunity for friends, neighbors and visitors to gather in the heart of our community," said Northbrook Park District Director of Recreation Eileen Loftus. "With live music, games, food and an outstanding selection of craft beverages, this event offers something for all adults to enjoy."

“Northbrook Brewfest is a great opportunity to bring friends and neighbors together to celebrate our community,” said Village Board President Kathryn Ciesla. “This year, we’re especially excited to raise a glass to Northbrook’s 125th anniversary.”

This event is for ages 21 and up; infants, children and dogs are not allowed to attend. No outside beverages are permitted. Chairs and blankets are encouraged.

Tasting tickets are currently on sale; prices are $49 for tasting tickets (including a special Brewfest glass and 15, 5-ounce drink tickets) and $30 for non-tasting tickets. Prices will increase at the gate on Sept. 19 to $59 and $39 respectively.
