• Another Rabid Bat Found In Oak Forest: Cook County (patch.com) — Oak Forest residents are being warned after a second bat in 30 days, most recently found near the 15300 block of Kilpatrick, tested positive for rabies. Neighbors are urged to vaccinate pets, avoid handling bats or other wildlife, and contact medical professionals or Cook County Animal and Rabies Control immediately if they suspect exposure.
