• Another Rabid Bat Found In Oak Forest: Cook County (patch.com) — Oak Forest residents are being warned after a second bat in 30 days, most recently found near the 15300 block of Kilpatrick, tested positive for rabies. Officials urge pet owners to keep animals leashed and vaccinated, avoid handling bats or skunks, and call Cook County Animal and Rabies Control if these animals are found on or near their property.
