Get Out The Vote

Sheila O’Grady, Executive Director of the Citizens Advocacy Center, will discuss voting rights, the history of the fight for the ballot, and the changes shaping how we vote today.

We will turn our attention to what each of us can do to encourage voter participation and help create a voting tsunami. Bring your ideas, your questions, and your enthusiasm for a lively, open discussion. Come for the conversation, stay for the camaraderie, and leave inspired to make a difference.

This program is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Oak Park and River Forest.  Our programs are free and open to the public.

Snacks provided; cash bar available. Stay afterward to enjoy live music!
