ORLAND PARK, IL — An Orland Park favorite that's made its home along Wolf Road for 10 years has moved to its new location—but not far.

Joey's Red Hots, owned by Anthony Nardo and Nick Iozzo, has closed its original location in Orland Park, jumping across the street to new space at 17259 Wolf Rd.

The original Orland Park location was the first for the chain, with seven additional that followed and one coming soon. Other locations are in Chicago, New Lenox, Crest Hill, Justice, Riverdale, Orland Hills and Burbank. A Cicero location is also in the works, Nardo said. Joey's is known for its Chicago-style fast food and comfort classics, including Vienna Beef hot dogs, Italian beef, burgers, gyros, pizza, and homemade Italian ice/gelato.

The lease on the original property at 174th and Wolf Road expired this year, Nardo said, and the property had deteriorated. Nardo sought to acquire the property across the street, to "make a new and improved Joey's.

"All under one roof," Nardo told Patch. "No more going into two different buildings."

The total space for the business has increased drastically, Nardo said, with 7,000 sq. ft. in the new building. At the previous location, each of the two buildings was 1,200 sq. ft.

The larger space can seat 100 comfortably, with outdoor seating also available.

"Nothing's changing," Nardo said. "Same menu, same original people—just more comfortable for everyone to enjoy, and a way better customer experience."

The space at 17259 Wolf Rd. opens Friday, Oct. 2 at 10:30 a.m. Regular business hours will be 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week. They can be reached by phone at 708-478-6200; catering orders to 708-654-8000.

"We look forward to the next 10 years serving the community," Nardo said.
