Electronics Recycling, Shredding, Drug Take-Back Event Coming To Orland Square Mall: Village

The event is set for Saturday, July 25.

ORLAND PARK, IL — The Village of Orland Park is partnering with local officials in a community clean-up day featuring electronics recycling, document shredding, and prescription drug take-back.

The event is set for Saturday, July 25 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Orland Square Mall (upper level by Texas de Brazil).

The electronics drop-off has a limit of 1 TV per household. Prescription drugs must be in their original containers and hypodermic needles and liquid medicines are not allowed.

This event is organized by the Village of Orland Park, Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago Commissioners Commissioner Yumeka Brown and MWRD Commissioner Beth McElroy Kirkwood, Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago Vice President MWRD Commissioner Flynn, and Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart.
