Orland Fire crews had to use various tools to remove a seized sewer cover that was preventing access to the ducks, Orland Fire Protection District said. With assistance from the Village of Orland Park Public Works and Animal Control, they successfully removed the cover and used special nets to scoop up the distressed ducklings.
