• Panel calls for less density in residential development proposed near Oswego East High School (chicagotribune.com) — A large new housing development proposed just west of Oswego East High School is facing pushback from Oswego's Planning and Zoning Commission over its density, traffic impact, and lack of park space. Commissioners are asking the developer to scale back townhomes, rethink private streets, and add more green space before sending any recommendation to the Village Board.

• Soccer Recap: Oswego East Holds Plainfield North Scoreless (maxpreps.com) — Oswego East's boys soccer team continued its strong season with a 2–0 shutout of Plainfield North, improving the Wolves to 7-2-1 and extending a solid run of road form. Next up, they'll host Bolingbrook on Tuesday afternoon, a matchup expected to be tight given Bolingbrook's string of one-goal games.
