• City approves incentive deal for Riverside Powersports expansion (powersportsbusiness.com) — An Ottawa-based dealership, Riverside Powersports, is expanding to a second location in nearby Plano with up to $250,000 in city tax incentives to renovate a former Car Quest building. The project, backed by Plano’s City Council, includes nearly $1 million in upgrades and is expected to create 10 to 15 full-time jobs while boosting regional retail activity. 
• Marin Gautcher scored twice in Sycamore win over Ottawa: Thursday's Daily Chronicle sports roundup (shawlocal.com) — Ottawa’s girls soccer team fell 5–1 on the road at Sycamore in Interstate 8 conference play, with Sycamore’s Marin Gautcher scoring twice.
