Police warn of delays and are urging motorists to use alternate routes while they investigate and work to reopen the roadway. No information on injuries or vehicles involved has been released yet. 
• Suspect Still Wanted 3 Years After Fatal Palatine Shooting (patch.com) — Palatine residents are being reminded that one suspect is still wanted in connection with the 2023 shooting that killed 15-year-old Damian Hernandez, with police renewing their plea for public tips.
