Here's some information to survive the excessive heat, including Palos cooling centers and where to report a power outage.

PALOS, IL—Our relatively cool start to summer has turned into Hell’s Front Porch overnight as a massive heat dome builds over the Chicago region.

The one-two punch of high heat and humidity could create a dangerous situation in which heat-related illnesses are possible.
