Supporters cite grants, tax benefits, and potential tourism, while skeptics worry about limiting future renovations and possibly pushing families away, especially if they later want to expand their homes. 
• Chicagoland man facing multiple charges after vehicle search turns up narcotics (1630kcjj.com) — A 20-year-old Park Ridge resident was arrested in Iowa City after police say a late-night vehicle search uncovered marijuana, THC products, alcohol, numerous vapes, and fake IDs. He now faces multiple drug- and alcohol-related charges that could bring significant prison time if he's convicted, though the incident occurred out of state.
