📰 News we're reading
• Park Ridge residents challenged to get out, see it all on foot (chicagotribune.com) — Park Ridge residents are invited to join a new Walk and Run Park Ridge challenge, aiming to cover all 140 miles of city streets on foot by year's end. With a flexible $15 CityStrides registration, prize drawings, and customizable T‑shirts, the city's Community Health Commission hopes neighbors will explore their blocks, get moving, and help prove the program popular enough to return next year.
