Informational Meeting Planned (patch.com) — Plainfield residents are invited to a Wednesday evening meeting at Village Hall to learn about the next phase of Old Town improvements, focused on rebuilding sidewalks and rail crossings. Village officials will explain how the 2028 construction plans aim to boost pedestrian safety, accessibility, and connectivity around the Canadian National Railway in the Old Town neighborhood and gather community feedback.
