• Girls basketball teams get summer tuneup at Braidwood Shootout (shawlocal.com) — Plano High School’s girls basketball team capped a busy day at the Braidwood Shootout by rolling past Clifton Central 42-18 in the consolation championship. The tournament gave Plano and other area programs valuable early summer court time, with coaches stressing development for returning starters and newcomers as they tune up for the coming season.
