• SIU Flying Salukis capture 10th national championship (wmclradio.com) — A Richmond native, Ben Campbell, played a key role in helping Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s Flying Salukis win their 10th national collegiate aviation championship in Moline. Campbell, an aviation flight and management major, won the aircraft preflight event and finished 10th overall with 68 points as SIU topped 31 other teams through consistent, teamwide performances.
