• River Forest township taking names for next supervisor (oakpark.com) — River Forest Township is seeking applicants to replace Supervisor John Becvar, who plans to resign this summer, with the appointed person serving through May 2029. Any registered voter who has lived in River Forest at least a year can apply by June 25 via email, with a cover letter, resume, policy acknowledgment, and conflict-of-interest statement.
