• IL Bus Crash Sends Six People to Hospital (jems.com) — Six people were taken to local hospitals after a car ran a red light and hit a public transit bus at 24th Street and Fourth Avenue in Rock Island Monday afternoon. Fire crews sent four ambulances, treated additional patients on scene, and cited the 20-year-old driver for disobeying traffic control and operating an uninsured vehicle.
