• Plainfield police say two people stabbed inside home (shawlocal.com) — Police in nearby Plainfield are investigating a Thursday night stabbing that left a woman and a juvenile injured after an argument inside a home turned violent. Officers from Romeoville and several neighboring departments helped secure the scene and take a man into custody after a lengthy standoff, while both victims were hospitalized with knife-related injuries.
