• Roselle firefighters rescue one from Turner Pond water rescue call (dupagepolicyjournal.com) — Roselle firefighters pulled a victim from Turner Pond on Devon Avenue after a water rescue call in August, transporting the person to a local hospital. The incident, highlighted in recent village meeting notes, prompted Roselle officials to remind residents to call 9-1-1 immediately in water emergencies and avoid attempting rescues without proper training and equipment.
