• Man Found Dead In Water At Lake Opeka: Des Plaines Police (patch.com) — A 61-year-old man from Rosemont was found unresponsive in Lake Opeka in Des Plaines Tuesday night and was pronounced dead at the scene despite rescue efforts. Police identified him as Jorge Ramirez-Contreras of Rosemont and say they do not currently suspect foul play, with the investigation still in its early stages. 
• CM Punk Reportedly Closing In On WWE Return (wrestlingnewssource.com) — CM Punk is rumored to return to WWE TV as early as the July 6 Raw at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, putting the village in the national wrestling spotlight again. WWE reportedly has big SummerSlam plans for him, and his comeback could draw major crowds and attention to the arena just down the road from Rosemont residents.
