• Schaumburg man accused of longtime girlfriend's murder (dailyherald.com) — A Schaumburg resident has been indicted on first-degree murder and related charges in the death of his longtime girlfriend inside the Schaumburg home they shared. Prosecutors say a digital recording captured the fatal April 30 attack and that an earlier March incident at the same address led to an outstanding warrant. The defendant’s arraignment is scheduled for June 10 in Cook County court.
