Rt. 66 defined an important era in America's history, and it lives on today. On Sunday May 3rd come celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Mother Road with Junk in the Trunk Morris at our Gardner location. Our outdoor flea market will be open from 9AM until 3PM at Parks Place, 102 S. Rt. 53, a block east of I-55 (Gardner Exit #227). Parks Place was once a Standard Oil Filling Station located on Rt. 66, and our May 3rd market is part of Red Carpet Corridor 2026, featuring family friendly events along Rt. 66 from Joliet to Towanda. New vendors are always welcome, and we do not require advance reservations, so if you would like to be a vendor in Gardner for Red Carpet Corridor this coming Sunday, or at any of our upcoming markets in Morris, Mazon or Gardner, simply arrive at 8AM, pay the $15 vendor fee and take an available spot. Proceeds from vendor fees received at this event will be donated to the Grundy County Historical Society.
