• Elgin Schools Announce New Principals for Fall (nationaltoday.com) — Families with students at Kenyon Woods Middle School in South Elgin will see a new principal take over when the 2026–27 school year begins, as part of a broader District U-46 leadership shakeup. Abbott Middle and Century Oaks Elementary in Elgin are also getting new principals, alongside new executive directors and a plant operations director tied to realignment and construction projects.
