• NEWS POST: Independance Day traffic enfrorcement campaign to begin this month... (crimewatch.net) — Summit Police will ramp up traffic enforcement from June 19 through July 6, targeting impaired and unbuckled drivers around the busy Independence Day period. Working with Illinois State Police and other departments, officers will increase patrols and emphasize seatbelt use, sober driving, and safe transportation options so Summit residents and visitors can celebrate and get home safely.
