KSD 140 Inducts 117 Students into National Junior Honor Society
Middle school students recognized for excellence in scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship
Kirby School District 140 recently inducted 117 seventh-grade students into the Grissom and Prairie View chapters of the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS), recognizing their outstanding academic achievement and commitment to core values.
To qualify for NJHS, students must maintain a grade point average of at least 3.8 while consistently demonstrating excellence in scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship. The selection process reflects not only strong academic performance but also meaningful contributions to school and community.
Membership in NJHS honors students’ accomplishments while encouraging continued growth through leadership opportunities, school involvement, and service initiatives.
