Meyer, a longtime community member whose family and friends remember her warmth and years serving customers at local groceries. She died April 11 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home, and in keeping with her wishes, services will be private, with cremation through Deiters Funeral Home in Washington and memorials suggested to T.A.P.S. in Pekin.
