WHEATON, IL — A medical office was ransacked and purses were stolen from a department store, according to the most recent crime blotter from the Wheaton Police Department.

Medical Office Burglarized

Police say someone broke into a medical office in the 2000 block of Wiesbrook Road, ransacked it and stole supplies. The incident took place between Aug. 30 at 12 a.m. and Aug. 31 at 7 a.m.

Signs Stolen From Presidents Park

Metal signs were stolen from Presidents Park, 1315 S. Prospect St. The theft happened sometime between 5 p.m. on Sept. 4 and 5 p.m. on Sept. 7.

Football Field Damaged at Graf Park

According to police, someone damaged the turf on the football field at Graf Park between Sept. 4 and Sept. 7. Police say it appears the damage was caused by e-bikes.

Purses Stolen From Nordstrom Rack

Someone came into the Nordstrom Rack at 71 Danada Square East, removed the security tags from purses and stole them. The theft took place on Sept. 10 at 3:45 p.m.

Car Vandalized in 700 Block of Michigan Street

Police say someone scratched a car while it was parked in the 700 block of Michigan Street. The incident happened between 8 p.m. on Sept. 11 and 2 p.m. on Sept. 12.
