• Concepts, preliminary designs up next for Skokie Playfield campus plan (therecordnorthshore.org) — Winnetka Park District is advancing a master plan for the busy Skokie Playfield campus, which includes the Ice Arena, A.C. Nielsen Tennis Center, and other key facilities residents use year-round. Consultants reported heavy demand, parking bottlenecks, outdated spaces, and floodplain challenges, and will now develop preliminary designs and cost estimates that residents can react to at future open houses and surveys.
