• DEA, FBI operate in Woodstock Friday; activist group says ICE was too (shawlocal.com) — Federal drug agents with FBI support carried out an enforcement operation Friday morning in Woodstock near Lake and Kimball, prompting police alerts to avoid the area. An immigrant-rights group also reported a possible ICE arrest earlier at the same intersection, which remains unconfirmed, while local police emphasized the later warrant activity did not involve immigration enforcement and later declared the area safe for travel.
