• Yorkville approves dog grooming business but limits hours for noise concerns (shawlocal.com) — Yorkville officials have approved K-9 to Life Dog Grooming for the historic red brick building at 111 W. Madison Street, but capped its hours to ease noise concerns from upstairs tenants. The shop can operate weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., offering one-at-a-time grooming and show-dog services in a 1,000-square-foot space.
