Bloomington woman struck by bullet while crocheting in living room (fox59.com) — A Bloomington woman was hit in the arm by a stray bullet while crocheting at home after a neighbor’s handgun discharged through their shared wall, according to police. Officers say the neighbor, who admitted drinking whiskey while disassembling the gun, was arrested on a Level 5 felony criminal recklessness charge and has an initial hearing set for June 18.

Bedford man identified after being found dead outside downtown Bloomington business (bloomingtonian.com) — Police have identified the man found dead Wednesday morning outside a downtown Bloomington business as 51-year-old Raymond Stewart of Bedford. He was discovered unresponsive on North Walnut Street and pronounced dead at the scene, with no obvious signs of trauma. An autopsy scheduled in Terre Haute is expected to clarify his cause and manner of death as Bloomington authorities continue their investigation.

Sounds From the Black Hole to present experimental music show at Walkover Record Shop (bloomingtonian.com) — An all-ages night of experimental, ambient, drone, and tape music is set for Friday, June 19 at Walkover Record Shop, 122 N. Walnut St. in downtown Bloomington. Sounds From the Black Hole is hosting artists from Bloomingtonpolis, and Chattanooga, with a $10 suggested donation and no one turned away for lack of funds.
