Officers say the neighbor, who admitted drinking whiskey while disassembling the gun, was arrested on a Level 5 felony criminal recklessness charge and has an initial hearing set for June 18.

Bedford man identified after being found dead outside downtown Bloomington business (bloomingtonian.com) — Police have identified the man found dead Wednesday morning outside a downtown Bloomington business as 51-year-old Raymond Stewart of Bedford. He was discovered unresponsive on North Walnut Street and pronounced dead at the scene, with no obvious signs of trauma. An autopsy scheduled in Terre Haute is expected to clarify his cause and manner of death as Bloomington authorities continue their investigation.
