• Towns of Burns Harbor and Porter break ground for Marquette Greenway expansion (wimsradio.com) — Chesterton residents can look forward to easier trail connections as Burns Harbor and Porter begin building two new paved segments of the Marquette Greenway, a project highlighted by the Town of Chesterton. Funded by major DNR grants, these links will extend the regional trail over the Little Calumet River and toward Howe Road, adding to a growing corridor that will eventually run from Chicago to New Buffalo.
