• County looks to address problematic road curve (madisoncourier.com) — Harrison County officials are moving ahead with plans to redesign a dangerous curve at Shiloh and Pleasant roads just south of Corydon, where one homeowner says nearly 30 vehicles have hit her house or yard. The project, part of a $442,100 package of small road fixes, now heads to the county council, and commissioners will meet again June 15 at the Corydon government center.
   

• Damage assessment underway after floodwaters sweep through Corydon (wdrb.com) — Downtown Corydon is drying out after nearly a foot of flash-flood water washed through Tuesday, damaging several businesses and washing out multiple bridges and road sections in Harrison County. Emergency crews rescued 17 people from homes and vehicles, but officials report no injuries, and some businesses, like the Alibi bar, have already reopened while assessments continue.
   

• Indiana's first constitution is home again in original state capital (journalgazette.net) — Indiana’s original 1816 constitution is temporarily on display at the Corydon Capitol State Historic Site, housed in former Gov. William Hendricks’ home through July 5. Local residents can view the 72-page document and learn how Corydon shaped Indiana’s early government, education priorities, and role as the state’s first capital during broader 250th anniversary celebrations.
